Hotel Lotion

As many of you know I traveled  A LOT in 2018, all over the country, all over the world.

And one of the souvenirs I always brought back was lotion from the hotels. Many of them are already used up, but the small bottles fit nicely in a purse for everyday on the go usage.

The first stop was Whales. The lotion I brought back from there had a light scent and a lovely mauve opaque bottle. After that was Switzerland. Not only did I bring back lotion, but I also smuggled back a shower cap (life changing) and small sewing kit. The Swiss French know what a girl needs out of a hotel room!

The only place I didn't bring lotion back from was from the Hard Rock Megapolis in Panama City, Panama. I DID NOT like the way that one smelled. In fact, I didn't pack shampoo and used the hotel room shampoo and I could barely stand it, so there was no way I wanted to have a relationship with that scent.

Costa Rican Resort Lotion

I stayed in a hotel in Pittsburgh=lotion, I stayed in a resort in Costa Rica= lotion (no other Costa Rican hotels had lotion, they didn't have many other things either if you know what I mean)

In 2017 I stayed at one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, it was the 4 Seasons in Atlanta, and they had the best quality lotion and shampoo- they have C.O Bigelow. I loved loved loved that lotion, and made sure I had housekeeping come so I could get more!

I was excited when I got called to go to Pittsburgh this week, it meant new hotel lotion! I couldn't wait to discover what brand and scent would become my new purse lotion. I checked into the hotel and the first place I went when I entered my room was straight to the bathroom to find my lotion. But I didn't see any. I looked by the sink, by the bathtub....there was no lotion!!! There was no shampoo, no conditioner...until I opened the shower curtain. And there, replacing the mini bottles of product gold is the new sustainable method of hotel products....

Is this the end of hotel lotion? Will I have to find another way of keeping lotion in my purse? Only time will tell. See you soon Albuquerque, let's hope you don't disappoint.
