New Years Resolutions 2019

                                                             HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Welcome to 2019, where your life will start over new again, with the chance to take either the RED pill and move forward healthy, active, and full of ambition or take the BLUE pill where you will remain in the same stagnant place in your life, or make even worse decisions...which will it be?!

JUST KIDDING! but, Welcome to 2019!

Let's talk about resolutions. BUT, first what is a resolution. Merriam-Webster defines a resolution as the act or process of resolving such as; a: the act of analyzing a complex notion into simpler ones, b:the act of answering, c: the act of determining.

So, have you made a plan to resolve, analyze, and be determined? I have!

My resolutions include 2 main things really.

1. NEVER BREAK A PROMISE TO YOURSELF. I received the book "Girl Wash Your Face," by Rachel Hollis as a Christmas present, now as I type this blog, I am only 2 chapters in but it's already made an impact. She talks about never breaking a promise to yourself. I think about all the times you have wanted to flake on a friend but didn't, and then had a blast. It's kind of the same concept, don't flake on yourself, you'll probably have a blast. I see it as method of motivation. If I say that every Sunday is going to be church and hobby Sunday, then I need to follow through and make Sundays all about church and hobbies. If I declare that I am going to work out 4 days a week, with some of those before work, then I will hold myself to that declaration. If I vow to eat a Keto died, I will keep that vow. It's a simple concept that I think most people NEED to apply to their lives.

2. 52 WEEK HIKE CHALLENGE. Also simple, go on 1 HIKE A WEEK for the next year (which is 52 weeks for those of you who don't remember that fact from grade school). If anyone wants to join me, or me and Rex, let me know, we like friends. Keeping up with my outdoor love I knew this challenge was for me!

What are your resolutions? Leave a comment and lets see how many people are taking the red pill this year.

PS- I started my new year at a party, it was weird, it was fun, it was exactly what I wanted it to be! Thanks Jeff!
